As CEO of DHL Express for Central and South America, Jaime
was responsible for the business of 15 countries with revenues of USD 500 million
between 2002 and 2015. During this period DHL achieved a leading position in the courier
market and best in class levels of service, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
For a period of two years until 2002, Jaime was appointed COO and Head of Operations and Sales for Danzas AG, today DHL Global Forwarding, for Latin America and played a key role in the regional and local integration of the newly acquired Air Express International organizations.
Jaime started his logistics career in 1980 in Washington DC with Panalpina, the Swiss global forwarding company, in various management roles in the US, Venezuela and Costa Rica, where he was asked to open the first company owned operation in Central America in 1994.
In 2015, Jaime retired from his executive role to become an entrepreneur and consultant, and has assisted LatAm Logistic Properties in building a customer led culture.
